I been having a lot of trouble with rust in my tank for the past year and been replacing fuel filters every week.  I finally surrendered and bought a new tank From Walack's.  I would like install a period correct filter on the fuel line.  Any suggestions?

I'm sort of fond of these old Carter glass bowl filters. You can see the fuel arrive.  (This is another way to tell if your fuel pump is pumping.)

I've purchase these on eBay.  Keyword...Carter Fuel Filter.

I sell them and I give you a true Lifetime warranty, which is why they are no longer made. I even have some original Skinner Purifiers.

x2 on Carter glass bowl filters.  They look great on these engines!  I lucked out and found one in a box of tractor parts out in my barn!
