	Some current statistics, if you're interested. members = 550 number of posts never = 170 10 or less = 203 10-100 = 136 100-500 = 27 500-1,000 = 6 over 1,000 = 8 - you know who you are As is true with most forums, the truely active members are about 10% of the total membership.

	John, i know you are doing a great job with registering new members but i'm wondering if we should try to open the registration tool. There is a lot of anti-spam feature in it and an admin still need to approve it. 	Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I"ve been crazy busy and tired. The registration was tedious and annoying enough to discourage most spammers. It may put off some legitimate users who aren't very computer savvy. It took me four tries. First rejection was because I put Pascal for the Referer. Changed it to Quebec Jeep. Then it rejected the Captcha. I had to try both the number 1 and lower case L to get it right. Then it complained about my Date of Birth entry. I didn't put in the leading zeros on day and month - just me being lazy. It would be much better if it displayed all the errors at the same time rather than springing them on you one at a time. Can that be configured in the software or are we stuck with that? The best way to do that is to re-display the form with the error fileds highlighted so you can just go down through them and correct them all.

	I just registered member #750. We've added 200 in the last two years. Nice steady growth. activity statistics - post counts more than 2,000 - 3 more than 1,000 - 6 more than 500 - 5 more than 100 - 38 more than 50 - 34 less than 50 - 428 0 posts - 236 so again 10% of the members are contributing the majority of activity - pretty common
