That some good news there! Sounds like you are well on your way to a very nice driver. You'll be chasing the fine tuning for months but that part is much more fun than hoisting transmissions in and out.
If you don't have them already, pick up a dwell meter and vacuum gauge. Both are well worth the small amount they cost.
