Novak vs Walcks vs Kaiser parts

looking at transfer case rebuild parts and kits, novak is almost twice as much as either Walcks or Kaiser,  are their parts that much better?    or are they about the same quality?

I bought into the Novak hype.  I can say with 100% certainty it is hype.  Many of the parts had the crown label scraped off.  I would certainly buy their hardened shaft.  All the rest I would buy elsewhere.

My 2 cents from buying their stuff 8 last August.

I bought the Novak intermediate shaft and bearing kit....the bearings appear to be the same as you get with any intermediate shaft kit.

The shaft is nice. It's cut for "O" rings to seal at each end....however it is really difficult to install without cutting/slicing/ruining the "O" rings....

I put the one I got from Herm back in and it's fine....

I got both my transmission and TC rebuild kits from Herm....

But if I remember right the gasket kits and seals that Herm sent were Crown products.

thanks,  I've had good luck with Walcks, haven't delt with Herm, but it looks like it could be a good idea
