Okay SAW,
I see it now. �With that short hose connected, you really shouldn't have the fuel line squeeeeze. � �Could the pump or cam lobe be the problem? �I read in another post, maybe Carl, that had issues at altitude with a weak...old fuel pump. �Your pump doesn't look old, but you may have done a good job of cleaning it up. �

This link dicusses similar, but other fuel issues. �It talks about the lobe on the cam sliding too far forward making the pump inactive. � �
