The flapper in the manifold is frozen shut so I sprayed a bunch of PB blaster to loosen the darn thing. I used a little too much wrench and broke the end off the shaft. Now I need to replace the the riser/shaft/bushings. Does the shaft need to be driven out the side (longest end out first)? I don't want to do any hammering in the exhaust manifold before I get some good advice.
