But if you side mounted the spare on a hub, so it turns, it may be more of a help than a hindrance.....

On the trail run last year in NH, that would have helped much when I scraped it against the rock...  ;D I almost ripped it off.

Thanks! Haha, there is still more that could have been done to the body like fixing the dents and creases in the rear and lots of block sanding, but I decided to leave the character.

The green is darker than in the pic. It is more like a spruce green.

Yup, I think it would only take GG a week to fix this one ready to be a show jeep:



I'll be mailing the remains to Nate for his next project. Shouldn't take too many stamps at all.  ;D

I think I'm in love! I've been bolting pieces parts back on the tub for a couple of days and man, it is looking sharp! I decided on a color scheme for it too. Black WILLYS script and black windshield frame. I was thinking white script and green windshield frame, but now that I've bolted some black parts on, the green and black just look awesome together.

Sorry, no pics yet. I will once I get the tub on the frame Friday.

Anyways, I wanted to show how I got a 12v CB radio to work with a 6v system. I found a voltage booster and tied that in. I hid it on the dash support and zip tied it on so it wont move. It is that silver cube.



And then one of my friends gave me this cool dash plaque. This pic also shows the shade of green the best.
