Worked on the transfer case these last couple of days. There are just too many places it can leak from on these thing. Man they are busy with seals and gaskets.
The gears inside were in very good condition from my Transfer case #1 (first jeep, plow jeep). Bearings were good as well. So it was taken apart, surfaces were cleaned and new seals and gaskets were replaced.
All the debris, brass and metal the migrated over from the transmission was flushed out and Bearings were cleaned and lubed.
