Yes,  It's a GPW dash.  Needs straightened and some rusted parts repaired, then installed.

Did a little prep work on the body to get to the floor repairs. Took the hat channels off of the passenger side. It also needs work on the wheel well behind the seat and the riser corner. The trans hump needs a little repair as well. Now this DJ body had no wood in the hat channels, it had u shaped supports welded to one side the hat channel to keep from collapsing during bolt down of the tub.

Cut the passenger side of the floor out too many hole to fill along with the rotted areas.  This was the best bet.  It will also allow me to replace a section of the riser that was bad.  The riser had pulled away from the rear quarter panel as well as the wheel well that is quite mangled that will need replaced as well.  It will also allow me to keep the dimple on the stock floor.

Now that the chassis is pretty much done, time to work on the tub.� At the start I had posted a pic of it off without cleaning.� Here it is again.

Thanks for posting these pictures.� IF I had not saw them TODAY I can guarantee you I would have left that extra piece of hat channel on the passenger side off of mine!!!

Well got a lot of work to do and not enough time to do it.  Took out the old passenger riser section and front of the fender well along with the hat channel panel support.  Bent a new riser section and welded it in place.

Made a new front fender well panel and welded it in. Now that was a first for me.

Hey it looks great....it's kinda fun making panels....not too hard...and what an improvement! Very rewarding...

After all that work on the front fender well, I wasn't happy with the gauge of steel. It was only 24ga and needed to be thicker so I got some 20ga and refromed it. I removed the 24ga and installed and welded up the new 20ga. Much happier and it is stronger.

The thicker steel is a little harder to 'work', but long term, you will be happier you made that decision.  I say, the heavier, the better.

Got the driver side floor pan in place.  Some minor trimming and it's ready for welding in tonight.
