Piston pin lock bolts

Anything special about the piston pin lock bolts?  Can they be replaced with off-the-shelf hardware?

Mine seem to have significant thread damage on three and minor damage on the fourth.  (Only one of which I caused, but I won't embarrass myself by saying how.)  Walcks doesn't list them as a part, so I'm hoping I can just use regular bolts.

It's hard to inspect the threads on the con-rod, but I can't see damage there.  The con rod must be harder than the bolts that were in there.  This engine has been rebuilt before, so who knows what got put in then.   (Interesting note:  the pistons that were in there don't have the T-holes that are described in the shop manual.)

Thanks,

-Paul
