This is the original Dana 44 rear axle from a 1951 CJ3A. It should also fit other Willys models CJ3A, CJ3B, CJ5, M38. M38-A1 which were built with Dana 44's. It may also fit Willys Truck and Station Wagon models, depending on year.

This axle was working fine when the vehicle was last driven. There is very minor amount of play in the pinion gear shaft (about 1/16" measured at the yoke) - this axle can probably be installed as is, but an overhaul might be worthwhile. The pinion gear shaft seal should probably be replaced as it leaked a very small amount of oil when last used.

I have cleaned off most of the dirt and rust, but it could stand a bit more cleaning. It has been drained of oil.

It comes with the axle shaft nuts, washers, and woodruff keys.
