	Picked this up for scrap price. Guy says he has title somewhere. I am trying to figure out what I have. From what I can make out on data plate the serial number say 536. I am going to try to clean the id tags to get a better Idea. Magnito has ford markings on it and there is a coil under the hood that has ford markings. It is in way better shape than the 60 cj5 I got.

	It's a slat grill... Not sure about the dash instrument and also about the position of transmission level versus transfert case. Look like it might has an overdrive. Nice score i thing for scrap price. I can't tell if it's a jeep salad or an original GP. Does it marked Shell on the windshield?

	I spent enough time with it to load it and get it to our property. I plan on going through it this weekend and try to take pics of the major components to help further identify.

	OK I am pretty sure it is a 41 ford gp. It has a home made top and seats are missing but it is complete other wise. This is the markings on the side of the carb.

	That is a Ford GP. That's actually a pretty special find. Just a bit over 4400 were made. Wow. Tim PS... Does it have 4 wheel steering?

It does not have 4 wheel drive but I did notice on the steering arm off the gear box there is spots for other rods to be bolted up

	Do you mean "not 4 wheel steering"? It looks like it has a standard two stick transfer case which would mean 4 wheel drive.

	Yes 4 wheel steering. It does have 4wd. The guy says it ran 3 years ago. He used it for Ice fishing. That is the reason there is a big home made hard top on it.

	Very nice find!. The Stromberg carb is not correct, I believe the stock carb was a Holley and very, very rare. I have owned three, one was a driver. A VERY expensive vehicle to correctly restore, and parts are very hard to find. Post photo's on the Geee and you will be a popular guy there. Have fun with it!, Lee

	WOW fancy pants! We are all droolin, at least i am. Ya looks like a 41 Ford GP. You stepped into a steamin pile gold mine right there. What did it cost ya out of curiosity? I looked at a few pics on the web and the shifting canes arrangement and the dash speedo looks stock! wowzahs. Hopefully its not too mucked up, even still you will never be upside down in it. We require more pics though. Congratulations on that find. Did some quick research and looks like the middle lever with the push button is the parking brake.

	I plan on taking off the home made top and getting her running. It has a N series ford engine in her and parts are easy to come by. Once I get her at that point we are going to decide what we are going to do with it. As of now we have the 51 3b torn apart and a 60 cj5 needing some love.
