This is not mine, but sounds like some potential for the price ($3000):

I've spoken with the owner and it supposedly runs well. I suggested he get some pictures since it's the first question people are going to ask. He is also missing the title, but again depending on the overall condition might be worth the headache.

It's in Arlington Heights, IL which is northwest of Chicago.

I talked with the owner as well as I'm close to his location.
The pics he posted show lots of rust, but if it's running as well as he claims it's probably worth the price.
I'm willing to go look at it for anybody who's interested in buying it. I can also help with logistics of an actual purchase as well, ie. I could haul it to my place and store it for a short time.

I went with John to go see this Willys yesterday. It has not been hacked up and seems mostly original. The body tub is pretty rough (repairable but would be a lot of effort), but the frame and everything else is reasonably solid. The engine starts and idles well. It's definitely a solid candidate for a restoration project.
