	This is way toooooooooooooooo much for me. I'm still in love with my wife you know. And hopefully she still love me... If I spend 23K$ on an old willys, this will mean a lot for me...I mean a lot. A complete change in my life. My decease is under control.

	For me it would not be a case of the Willys disease under control. It would simply be that that kind of money is NOT there or anywhere else near me. That's more than I paid for my brand new 2010 JK after saving money for a few years in anticipation of having to replace an old, beat up car. I spend one tenth of that on my '46 2A and it was a financial stretch. Sigh. It's a good thing none of us are rich or we'd own dozens of old Jeeps and the neighbors would hate us.

	a bucket of paint looks good splattered on an old engine, but there is no tellin how the innards are when you buy one some one else has rebuilt. not taking away from the engine, but it's a lot of cash

	I can't find the original post, but I think we all have seen this engine before. The first time around, there were lots of photos taken during the refurb. It is a NOS engine found in a crate. It was painted an ugly blue. They took it all apart, replaced all seals etc..., reassembled it, then sold it. Not sure why it's back on the market. Tim

It's an ORIGINAL 1944 FORD GPW WILLYS MB PARTS CATALOG G503 TRUCK MANUAL JEEP WWII ARMY I bet up to 200$. Then the seller contact me and said that the reserve was at 500$. WOW! I don't know what to think. Is it really the average selling price for an original?

	I think this engine was at the Louisville, MVPA show. I looked at it for a long time. although, I do not remember it having a carb., air horn and cross tube on it there.
