	I saw this on ebay. Not for me but it's interesting to see the routing of the lines and the type fuel pump... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Complete-Vintage-Jeep-4-Cylinder-Engine-L-134-... Notice the included voltage regulator and the exhaust flange bolts...

	In the text he mentions the s/n as RJ307227...which i think is correct for a replacement engine... It's pretty neat...if i were a lot closer i'd be tempted...

	These engines were still being used for postal Jeeps in 1970. I did notice the missing throttle bracket. It has a different starter than either of my L134s, though.

	F-heads maybe. The starter is marked 6V and is a kick start. It looks like my starter but i can't read the number in the photo...

	Between the forward facing ear on the front engine plate and the kick start, it must be a 49 to maybe late 52 3a engine. No bids yet.....it's neat but a tough sell...

	You could use that crated jeep as a box spring....put the old king size sleep number bed on top....

	If legit, and truly NOS, that really is a museum piece. Still, I would love to open it up, measure it, caress it. Once you consider the time and money it would take to get an existing engine back to that condition, I think it's worth every penny the guy is asking for it. Tim
