Too funny Bruce. I worked 9 years for the county as a traffic signal tech. It was of course electrical work. My dreams were squashed in 3rd grade when I put down my dream job as a garbage man (sanitary engineer) The teacher actually called my parents and said I was going to throw my life away.Teachers cared about their kids back in 1964.

I am a heavy equipment mechanic for a contractor in the St. Paul area, field service, 29 years, I am also a certified crane operator. Backhoes and cranes, I work on the most, a very interesting job.

Retired from Eastman Kodak, took up grain farming on the family farm partly to take care of my disposable income, but mostly to play with my K2 combine and old tractors.

We were an IH house as I was growing up in the '60s, but I remember the Gleaners - shiny metal instead of paint. I think our IH was a 100 series - pretty small, only a 4 row corn head.
Do you have a picture of your combine in action? And how about your tractors?
