L134 rebuild? Any good engine shops in NC?

I've never rebuilt an engine and don't feel good about learning on the old L134.  Rather get it done right and worry about other projects.

So does anyone know of a good engine shop in NC?

Thanks,
Keith

These things are easy peezy to rebuild. We can walk you through it.

Well, I also built my own engine from scratch too...  Grin

I took my engine to a machine shop for the same reasons. After nearly 2K in machine work I'll let the experienced fellow put it together.

For what it is worth I contacted a member of the local MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Assn) and asked them for a recommendation. It's nice to have someone work on it who has rebuilt an L-head or two before...

I'd like to know what you find out too.

I'm down on the low end of NC. Down near Washington.
