And be sure to make at least one backup copy of that flash drive.
I don't have enough fingers and toes to count all the people who have come to me with tales of woe, having lost, stepped on, accidentally deleted (choose your disaster) their thumb drive.

Or, worse yet, thumb drives can spontaneously forget everything. It is less common now than it was 5 years ago (guess the manufacturers are getting better at it) but it still happens and there's no getting it back.

Just a little hint from a computer geek. 

I thought I was the only one who spontaneously forgot everything.
