Hey guys...for any of you who are running DualMatic hubs on your jeep, a question.  Went you assemble the wheels do you put the final nut and washer on the wheel spline? On mine it doesn't look like it will fit inside the outside portion of the hub.

There is different type of dualmatic hubs.
A short body and a taller one.

Do you have the axle end threaded? If yes then you need the taller body dualmatic type.

The master is right.

You can also cut the threaded end off of the axle. It doesn't "need" to be secured on the end.

OK...I think that answers my question.  I just wasn't sure if the nut that goes on the axle spline needed to be secured or not.  The hubs I have fit over the end of the axle but don't look like they would accommodate the nut if I put it on, so I wasn't sure if it was alright to leave that axle unsecured in there.  I notice it will move back and forth a little bit but cannot disengage from the hub.
Whew ..... I struggled to try and describe that, does all that make sense?
