PITA Project........

Has anyone collected the pearls of wisdom that get passed along on the pages
In one place?   I am referring to the "just remember to do this.....before that"
Kind of thing.   There was one today about the accellerator bracket, and one
Last week about certain tub bolts.   At my age I will surely (dont call me Shirley)
Forget and Repeat unless I have a cheat sheet.   I was hoping that this already existed
Somewhere on the forum.

I've never seen such a thing. Everyone works differently, so what one person might do first is the last another person does. So, if you have a question on what you should do first, ask a way!

This is why we have the FAQ section. I remember a post on things to do before installing an engine, but I don't think it made it there.. That accelerator linkage is a dandy one if you forget to install it or worse, put it on upside down.

We probably also need a don't twist off your lug nuts post for those pesky left hand lug nuts too..

Anyone can post a FAQ post, as we can always edit incorrect stuff or posts that really should be in the tech section instead. Eventually when enough material gest collected in a FAQ or TECH hints, we can condense it down to the basics and post an edited version.

I missed the tub bolt thing, if you remember where it is remind me with a link.

I think I can find it again....  It was one of those..."do it before...." kinda thing.
Not really thinking of sequencing in terms of engine, fenders, bed. But more of

Bingo!

I saw that one, and Iam sure that I will forget it just before I put the engine back in.

Thanks Again
