My dad found this on Craigslist. It was converted to single phase already. I have a project in mind for it, a single valve engine to go with my home built engine.

Wow, A single phase Anvil.. Most of those old anvils are three phase, you got lucky! Grin

But seriously... Bridgeport clone? Any tooling? I need to send you something to mill today....I got a quick attach tool post from my Atlas and I need to get the T nut milled to fit the compound t slot.
Have you got all the catalogs from the places like Little machine shop, Tools 4 cheap, CDC tooling?  Some even sell raw castings for engine projects. Way too easy to spend a lot of $$ on tooling.

Yeah, those single phase anvils are hard to find, just like muffler bearings! Grin

It is a real Bridgeport. It came will all the collets and some end mills. That is about it. We will have to get some of those clamps for it and a few other tools.

I'm familiar with msc and McMaster Carr stuff. That's it.

Nate, that will open up almost as much potential as a lathe.  Just makes some things that are really problematic really simple.  As far as tooling, MSC/Enco is about as cheap as it gets.

I have more than a life time's worth of end mills.  One of the neighbors that owned a manufacturing plant in town had a garage sale about 5 years ago and I got 25-30 lbs of sharpened end mills-about every size/configuration there is and most are Cleveland.  Sorry-don't want to get rid of them yet.
