I went and looked at this today.  http://stgeorge.craigslist.org/cto/3633379433.html

I was bored, and had some free time.  I had no intention of buying it, and I let him know that before I came out.
He didn't know much, and was surprised when I pointed out the scripted "F" on the front frame cross member.  I told him I didn't think it was worth $1,200, but after seeing that it was a GPW frame I told him it might be worth more, but that I really had no idea?????  So then, much to my surprise, he says he'll take $700 for all of it.  I told him I still wasn't interested.  It looks like it's been hacked up, and I didn't get a better look at anything than what these pictures show.

Just passing it along.

Enjoy.
It's 2 hours north of las vegas, I can't answer anything about it, and I have nothing to do with it.  Smiley

It looks like it's been hacked up . . .

That's being charitable. It's not hacked up, it's totally butchered.

Well, it at least is a GPW frame. Someone was really into cutting and welding and the heavy use of body filler, I'd say. It really looks like a rejected parts pile, not a jeep.  Sad

If I needed a certain part I might be interested at $300 or so, but any more than that I'd need to know the engine was not a boat anchor, and there has to be some body parts that are good....and not cut up for speakers or lights or whatever.

That is the sort of jeep that says ROCK CRAWLER all over it. Nobody would shed a tear if that gets modified even more.
