Herms Dual MC and stainless brake lines

Before finishing my trailer, I decided I should upgrade my MC. I was already running 10" drums from a CJ5, so the brakes were good to go. The stock MC left a lot to be desired though. The CJ5 I took the brakes from had a bubba dual MC swap in it and luckily, bubba had used the right one for the swap! I used it as a core and got a new one. No idea what it fits or came from. But hey, free is free!

FWIW, inline tube makes a stainless steel brake line kit for the 3As. I didn't have to modify it at all to fit it, other than the 10" brake wheel cylinders have ports that are angled, so I just had to tweak the ends a bit where as the 9" wheel cylinders come off straight.

The stock MC vs. the Dual MC.

I got the banjo bolt kit from Herm too. It made life so much easier!

The bracket for the clutch and brake levers was bolted on mine which was nice. I took out one of the bolts and drilled up through the frame to get one bolt on the top. This should be installed prior to putting the body on though, because there is no way to drill all the top holes. The works great on the 10" brakes. I can lock up my wheels. No problems with my install at all.

Thanks! It is a PITA to get in there and cut the old MC mount out.
