Looks like you got yourself a sharp little generator.  It's not often you see folks revert back to the classics.  I like it.  Where did you get your WO?  Did you beat my bid on Ebay?? Wink  Although I just installed my freshly rebuilt WO, I figured having a spare would be a good idea.  Besides, they look really cool sitting on the shelf in my office.  I was finally able to put the Solex in a box.

My dad had the generator setting on a self, he burned out the regulator a few years back on his 2a right before a big hunting trip and there wasn't enough time to order a new one, so I rewired some of the Jeep and put a alternator I had laying around on it. He decided he liked it better. He told me I was a fool for going back to the generator, but I like the old stuff, especially the old electro-mechanical devices . The wo was on the self by the generator, I forgot it was there, its at my house now, he should've never called me a fool. haha! When I bought my Jeep it already had the solex and a alternator on it, so for the sake of simplicity it was kept.
