My wife and I heading out with Carl (Carlsjeep) in Southern Utah.




Not too close.  It's 1000 feet down to the bottom.




Looking the other way.




And the way down is via an old dugway cut into the ridge's most gentle slope back in the 50s.




Little Willys is a bit small compared to its surroundings.




Road continues in the bottom.




Entering Arch Canyon we encountered water, but not as much as last year.




A huge sand deposit left by a recent flash flood.  My wife thought she was at the beach.  We hope to be traveling all the way up Arch Canyon soon, as we did last year.  



We had a full diversified day and it was great!

Didn't Arch Canyon have an olive drab Willys stuck in it in last years photos? Grin

So I hope you didn't make Lucille wade out in the water to get that one pic. 
I look forward to your guy's visit.  Are you going to bring Mike along?   I really need to pay him a visit.  Any idea when you think you might be venturing up?  I'm hoping not the 22nd, I will out to Wendover for the annual airshow.
