My 3a's Progress report

I figured I would start keeping kind of log of how the progress on my jeep is going. A link to the original condition of the Jeep http://cj-3a.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1335828960 .

My wife told me to go ahead and order a float for the carb (told me it is my fathers day present). So since I am now getting actually started on the project I am going to start sharing pics and questions, and what ever here.

Here is a History on my jeep to the best of my Knowledge.
It was purchased as a batch of 10 partial jeeps and was one of 3 completed from that group. I am not sure when this event occurred but the guy I bought the jeep from had owned it for about 20+ years. He had used it quite a bit for Hunting and traveling all over the UP (Upper Peninsula for you non Michiganders:) ). And then less than 800 miles before he moved down into my area he had the engine completely rebuilt. When I bought it around 1998 it had been sitting for about 8 years.  Then about 6 years ago I sold the jeep to my younger brother and then this winter I bought it back. One major bonus I received when I bought the jeep is it came with an original jeep service manual.

I have one quick question for  you guys.
What size is the screw/bolt that holds together the section of the carb that has the choke to the float bow assembly. And where can I get one? My brother had rebuilt the carberator and found that the float was bad so he had took it back apart and lost one screw.  Embarrassed
I think it might be a 12-24 but I am not sure on this and I really do not want to buy a whole new carb for one bolt. I have thought about drilling out the hole and tapping it to 1/4 24.
