I purchased this Jeep to part out, but after seeing its condition, I'm going to offer it up for sale.  It's probably more valauable as parts, but I hate to see these chopped up.

Purchase price is $1,000 firm.  There is no title, but it came from an estate sale in Virginia.  You may be able to obtain a duplicate.  This is based on what I paid and what it cost me in time and money to go get it.  I really don't want to haggle, so please - no offers.  If it doesn't sell - then I'll be offering the parts for sale here and other venues to help fund my '46 2A project.

This is an early 1950 according to the serial number (39291).  Then engine is complete, but frozen.  I've heard that it was running when parked, but this hasn't been verified.   Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, starter, generator, oil filter, radiator (with nice shroud) and horn are all present and accounted for.  The only item I see missing in the engine compartment is the air cleaner assembly.  It appears to have the original wiring harness and serial number plate.

The guages appear original except the ammeter.  There is an original light switch, choke & throttle cables, but no idea of their operability.  There is a heater (see photos), but I don't recognize it.  Steering wheel is cracked in several places.  The column tube and support brackets are all there as well as the gas pedal & linkage.  Brake & clutch pedal appear in decent shape.

The drivers seat is in fair to poor condition.  There is no passenger seat, but the brackets are there.  The toolbox is in fair condition with a very nice lid.

The floors and hat channels are mostly rusted, including the back floor.  

The body is very rough and is equipped with a Kelly All-Steel hard top and CJ-2A windshield.  The windshield is very restorable and I would imagine would fetch some good $.  The hard top is in fair to poor condition, but appears all there including the roll up windows.  One outer door latch is missing.

There is an original spare tire carrier in decent condition.  The tailgate is original, but badly rusted along the bottom edge.  Upper part is decent and straight.  The back inner fenders are in decent shape.

The frame is in nice shape, including the front frame horns.  Very nice rear draw bar, but hitch is missing.

The transmission and transfer case both shift through all of the gears.  The jeep rolls.  The wheels are all there and are 16".  They are in decent condition.  Tires are old and dry rotted.  2 of the wheels on the jeep are badly rusted, but I have 2 more that go with it.

The front axle has dualmatic hubs that appear to be working.  There is a dualmatic sticker on the dash (see photo).
