Thought I join the rest of you cj-3a guys! Ive been on the cj-2a forum for a little while. (altough I own a Cj-3a they havent banned me yet �;))

Thanks, everybody! Ill post some pics when I get home from work today. The trailer is a homemade job I did with old scrap stuff, I'll take it as a compliment that it was confused for a bantam haha

Thanks for taking a interest! The jeep was really the first thing I bought after I graduated school in 2001 and started work. my father has had a CJ-2A longer than he has had me. That little jeep was one of my fonder memories of childhood, so first chance i got, I had to buy one of my own! It took about 3 years or so to get it in the condition its in, its not a perfect restoration by no means, but it is mostly stock, and always a work in progress. Im glad i did it then, because i couldnt afford to do now ;).

Sure looks like a WWII or post war 1/4 ton trailer underpinnings, sorta! �Welcome from another Texas dude! Where ya at in this huge state? (I'm near Abilene..)


You have pecans this year? So far all we have is empties....

Howdy! We live about 40 miles due north of the Dallas metro-mess. The frame was a part of an old boat trailer,the axle is a piece of 2[ch8540] drill stem w/ flanges welded, and a set of Jeep front spindles and hubs bolted on, the spring are old rear ones. I call it recycling!!  Haha. We have just a few native trees on our place, what pecans I have found have been filled out good, but there's a lot still in the trees.

Hmmm,
We interact so much, I thought you were hanging here on a regular basis. ;)

Not super rambunctious at the 3A Page, but still lots of good info and a great group of 3A faithful popping in on occasion.
