Well rounded Jeeper

I live in East TN.

I have a 1952 CJ that I have been playing with for a while now. I also build Trail Jeeps that are for bouncing off of rocks in the woods. (My Willys is NOT used for this.)

I have built lots of Jeeps over the years but this Willys has been something that I have loved from day one.

You can also post pics of your other built. We love 3A but like other model as well.

When I first met this jeep it was a high school project. It belonged to the shop instructor to let the students do the work including myself. He graduated from the Columbia Military Academy in 1956. CMA56 

He died a few years after we graduated from high school. When he passed we helped his wife get through some things and get situated. 10 years after that she called me up and asked if I wanted the jeep she could not keep it in a longer. I still lived in the same area and she wanted the students to be able to enjoy it again.

Detroit lockers in both ends.
Yukon Joints
Twin stick conversion
35" tires
4" lift springs
Throttlebody conversion on the 6cyl.
Hand throttle on the shifter.
Stock 3 speed tranny.

This is my primary trail beeter.

1995 Grand Cherokee
6.5" coils
Rough Country long arm suspension
8.8 rear axle with 4.88 gears and Detroit locker.
Front is the Dana 30 with 4.88 gears and ARB locker.
Two speed tarus electric fan.
16" fan in the hood.
Two pusher cane in the grill.
12k winch.
Full interior roll cage
5 point belts
Removable doors.
On board air. Via Air 450 and tank. 
Tom Woods SYE kit on the 242 transfer case
Tom Woods rear drive shaft.
33" Super Swamper TSLs
2" wheel spacers.
ABS removed

Lots I custom "bodywork"

I am planning on taking the body off of my Willys this winter and going threw it completely.

I have a list of things I want to look at.

All three peddles and the starter peddle are very loose and floppy.
Brakes leak and could grab better.
Frame needs some paint. (Not rusted threw)
Tranny needs new detent paws. It keeps getting hung in gear or neutral. I'll just do a complete rebuild.
Transfer case is leaking. Same rebuild here.
Want to inspect the axles.
The body has some rust I want to look at. It's an original body. I'm still trying to figure out what I plan to do here. Repair or replace. I would love some input on all of this.

I'll start a build thread when I start taking things apart.
