To answer the question of my absence...fully....would take some time. It's been a rough last 8 years (well, about 6, things got better 2 years ago). THe most important answer is yes, I still have my 3A. Its actually in better shape now than it was in those photos (more cool little items and such). But the reason I was gone was because I had to take a sabbatical from life really (if there is such a thing lol). Actually, I had to take a sabbatical from the world. It would take forever to tell all this, and frankly it's not going to be that interesting for y'all. I had lymphoma (a blood cancer), and I had a fianc�. Both left me over that period of time and took my sanity with them. So I stopped working as a physician for a couple of years, sold all my worldly possessions (except my jeep), went to work at a friends machine shop for a couple of years (rebuilt jeeps, had access to all kinds of tools) and learned how to rebuild vehicles (especially jeeps) and modify jeeps into rock crawlers. My first passion in life was always cars, and jeeps in particular, medicine was something I did because it was great to help people and provide a service (and get paid so I could finance my true love), and use my brains to be a decent member of society I guess. Faced with mortality and mental anguish, a man sometimes needs to find himself....so I did. Not to be too dramatic, but it was the best decision I ever made. I am back to practicing medicine (kinda, it's more of a side gig really lol) and I have a fantastic little life. And I met a good woman, although her kids drive me nuts...kinda...And I wouldn't have had any of it had I not taken that chance and leaped about 4 years ago. Yes I know, kinda vague on details, but like I said, the long story is boring and I hit high points. If I said "got sick, woman left, quit my job, built jeeps for two years..", it would have just sounded crazy so I had to say a little bit more lol.
