Hi from New Hampshire
« on: October 05, 2013, 06:42:08 PM »
I am on most of the jeep boards and was on the old cj3a forum. I started out with jeeps when I was 13, I bought a 1949 cj3a for $20, never did get it to run. Then I bought a 68 cj5, that I then sold to my younger brother when I got a 68 m151a1, sold that to buy a 1951 cj3a with buick 225v6, sold that and had several m38s to get to the one I have now. I do plan on organizing a yearly off-road trip in NH. Had one last year that went really well.

Here is a photo of the 1951, still miss this jeep.

And here is my m38 (the photo was taken in 2012)

I am hoping we will see that M38 out on the trail next spring? Wasn't it feeling a little under the weather  last time? Any rocket launchers for it?  ;D

It was feeling a lot under the weather last spring.  Jpet helped me install the engine back into it the day after the trail ride.  It is running well now.  Hopefully in June it will be running well and ready for the trail.
