eWillys ???
« on: October 15, 2026, 12:45:05 PM »
Have you visited the eWillys website lately?

Is it just me, or am I not the target audience for the new eWillys website anymore?
Willys is better then Ford! Proove? They don't stample their parts for warranty.

The quality of the forum is made by the quality of the forum's people itself.

This has been a topic on multiple forums.  I noticed a mostly empty site myself a while back and then a topic popped up on the CJ2A forum.

That thread had this link added to explain.  It was from the new owner of the eWillys, Tim.

They seem to be sorting through it all.  Still missing a lot but he's assured everyone the files are safe.

Yes, it was very unfortunate that eWillys.com became the target of a hacker for some reason.  Luckily, although it was knocked offline for a few days, the files were not lost.  As he looked at the mess, I think Tim realized that this did give him an opportunity to put his own stamp on the site.  Just like I have stuck with the same basic look for CJ3B.info since I started it in 1996, Dave had maintained the same look since eWillys was started in 2008.  Tim seems to be going for a cleaner, simpler look, although it will probably be a while until he finishes working on it.  Anybody who prefers the "classic" format only has to click the Classic button in the top right corner.  (And if you want a really old-fashioned look, I invite you over to CJ3B.info!)

I think it's great that Tim was able to get a bare bones version of eWillys up after just a few days.  Like me, he runs his site as a hobby, not a full-time business.
