I am too old and fat to work on my knees in gravel and drop to the floor to maintain my equipment. Much of my testing of customer carburetors is performed on these Jeeps. My current shop/garage/storage space has limited-out. So, I'm going to expand the shop building with a two-story, two-bay garage this summer. Upstairs, it will be storage and my better half's "She Shack."
I must alter my work schedule because of this new construction, which includes a very large expanse of concrete thick enough to support an indoor two-post lift. I am not altering my availability, just the hands-on work. I am loaded with work, and I have projects outside that simply must be finished before construction can begin, so,
As of April 19th, the new schedule is as follows:
Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1500, I work in the shop on customer carbs, pumps, lines, and filters.
Saturday - 0700-1500 (weather permitting) outside projects.
Sunday - OFF.
I will be attending the 2025 Willys Reunion
in North Canton, Ohio. May 15-19
For those of my customers with jobs accepted and already here, I'll work as fast and efficiently as possible, with the same attention to detail, to get your equipment back to you.
Given my current workload, please make arrangements for me to work on your equipment by tomorrow, April 13th. I won't be accepting any new work until May 20th. There may be a few additional delays, and I ask for your understanding and patience in light of this development.
