CJ-4 and CJ-4MA current status
« on: January 23, 2025, 07:48:07 PM »
One of the Jeep mysteries that i have wondered about lately, is the current whereabouts of the 2 surviving prototypes, the CJ-4 (X-151) and the CJ-4MA ambulance.
The only information to be found on the CJ-4, besides re-posted content, are the late 90's articles, and the CJ-3B page page on it, which reads at the end "Note: The CJ-4 prototype has now been sold to another collector, who intends to restore it."

The CJ-4MA is even more vague, as I've only seen the CJ-3B page's write up on it, with pictures by Tom Wolboldt in 2005.

Are these still around, maybe kept by an owner who isn't much into appearing on the internet, or have both prototypes been lost again?
