Finished up the back hatch repairs.

This is shaping up to look a lot like a museum exhibit!

Decided to change things up and rebuild the heater.
The core pressure tested ok but needed a new bracket soldered on.
Sandblasted the whole thing and painted it,replaced the motor with a new 6v motor, and added some mouse proofing.

Worked on the cowl today, rust had gotten behind the bracket and there was some rust holes. Cut the area out, cleaned the rust out and made up some patches. Originally it wasn't welded at the seam like cj2a bodies, but I decided to weld it up to keep water from getting in there again. Still have the driver side to do.

Got some of the rear floor repairs done. I've come to the conclusion it would have been better to completely remove the floor, make the repairs and then reinstall it. The rust was worse than I initially thought it was and the patch was bigger than expected, so ran into some shrinking issues. But its getting there and hopefully is the last of the tub work.

On the home stretch now, just a little more to do and the tub will be finished with metal work.
Addressing some rust in the fender and riser area.

I've been digging into the fiberglass repairs and made some good progress with rebuilding the corner. Some repairs to the backside still need to be done, but its good to see the bulk of the corner rebuilt.

The hood has been a project. The center seam had rust pushing it apart, so drilled out the welds and clean all of that out. Then the metal was so thin the center had very little support and needed some reinforcement, so I made some angles to weld in. Lots of grinding, working the small dents and some primer, I think the metal work is pretty much finished.
