T-90 stuck in gear
« on: April 12, 2024, 09:21:22 PM »
I recently drove my ‘51 3A. When I came back home, I rolled to stop in my driveway, killed the engine, leaving it in gear. Next day, tried to drive, but the trans is stuck in gear. I have tried everything, but I can’t get it out of gear. Any suggestions?

Second stuck in gear situation this week.  Is it parked on an incline, and in what gear?  If it were "mine" I'd try...  If you have a "helper", try having them rocking the vehicle forward and backward while you try to pop it out of gear.  Or with clutch out try, to bump the starter ready to pop the gear shifter at same time.  Hopefully it is just an incline's pressure against the wrong side of a forward gear position.  Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it is still stuck. I sure don’t want to tear it down. Having done that three times over the last 25 years, I am getting too old (85).
