From Broadway to Halfmoon Valley Road Jeep Up For Auction

Im not sure if this has been discussed here yet but the "From Broadway to Halfmoon Valley Road" Jeep that is posted on the CJ3A Stories History and Other Neat Stuff link will be auctioned off on October 14-15 2022. The auction company is Broad Arrow Auctions. It would be nice if we could save the auction pictures here for reference as there are a lot of detailed pictures on the auction site.

$33,600 sale price. That one is probably the most original survivor CJ3A around. My survivor CJ3A is not as nice but would sell it for a third of that price!

I was pleased to see that it fetched a good price. Certainly worth that much considering it is ultra-low mileage and came with equipment including a trailer, Monroe lift, Newton mower, buzz saw and 7-piece canvas top.  I will save some of the auction photos to include in the article at CJ3B.info.

I got an e-mail from Joe Caprio's grandson, who was a bit upset that Joe's name was misspelled as "Joe Copnio" on the auction page.  Joe is the collector who originally purchased the Jeep in 1999 at the Knorr farm auction, and was forced by poor health to sell it in 2017 to Jim Taylor.  Joe passed away in 2019.
