New 1964 dj3a to my collection.

Found another 1964 dj3a and couldn't resist getting her home.
Vin no 820223973
Fairly complete with few parts to be replaced and corrected.

Update on the dj.
Got the tub off for some rust repairs and corrections.
Hope to get her moving to the paint shop by end of this month.

Thanks for the pics.  Interesting to see how the RHD puts the steering arm outside the frame and up to under the battery tray.  Do you have a pic of the bellcrank and tie rods hooked up to see that too?  Thanks for sharing.

I have a 1970 RHD DJ5 that is built the same way.  No, it is not a postal jeep, but was manufactured for contract postal carriers.

Plenty of room, so that wasn't the issue.  I guess it was more "economical" than developing a "reversed" steering gear box to keep the steering inside the frame.  I was just curious to see how the linkage hooked up.  Thanks.
