Cross over tube
« on: March 07, 2022, 10:13:46 PM »
Hi everyone!
I am looking for a cross over tube for my 1948 2A.
I found this one which seems correct but it hasn’t the depression that I found in most tubes (pic #2)
 #1

#2

Just wondering if #1 is a CJ3A tube or some kind of repro.
Thanks for your help
Chris

The indent goes away during CJ3A production.  The radiator rod support (the primary reason for the indent) was no longer needed when the radiator switched from bottom mount to side mount on the CJ3A.
