That's good to know.  You saw Sammydida3B's build with his tan top?

The snap mystery solved sounds like its a complete package.

Wished I was a bit closer to this stage.

Rus,
I hadn't seen that thread so thanks very much.  The top looks exactly like mine and I think the fit is as I predicted it would be if the rollbar was straighter than mine.  Your idea of a bow should work fine as well.  I was thinking of making something out of electrical conduit in the meantime.

Sorry for the delay.  Timing gets in the way sometimes.  Here's the bikini top from Somar Motor.  Captions from Scott.

Side View.  Bikini Top.  Standing on rear bumper with measuring tape hooked on the top edge of the windshield frame.  From there to the back of the top, in the very center, was 41 inches.  Also, from the windshield edge back along both sides to the dart in the fabric where the support should be, was 36 inches. Visually, looking straight down from there was just behind the seat frame.

Front No Snap.  In windshield channel showing snap.

Front Snap.  Folded over and snapped.

Rear Strap Top and Rear Strap Bottom. Strap to footman loop.

wish i found that 3 post ago. ebay here i go.

Bringing this thread back up, I am interested in this bikini top for my 3B....I don't have a roll bar and don't plan to install one, what have you used for a bow?

I have one of these on my 2A with a 3A windshield. My roll bar was not in the best position for the Bikini top so I went down to the local ACE hardware and bought a couple pieces of conduit and a couple of premade corner pieces and fit them together stuffed them into the top bow brackets behind the seats and then it all worked out pretty well.

Sorry this is the best photo I have of the Bikini top bow I made. No welding and I don't think it cost $20

Mark,
Your garage in the background looks roomy.

Thanks but it costs a wad of money to heat in the winter.
