Hello everyone, new to this site and thanks for having me.

I grew up in the back of a flat fender jeep, my dad was part of the local jeep club, and I have always wanted one of my own. My dad purchased his last jeep about 6 months before he passed away, and now I am in the process of going through it.

It is a 1953 CJ3A with a 225 V6, the transmission has overdrive, and it came with a spare tub, tailgate, and grille. It also came with the hard top and doors, as well as a bikini top. The previous owner had intentions of cleaning it up, but never got around to it and was forced to sell it. I currently have it in the shop, tore completely down, and in the process of fixing a couple of issues before putting it back together.

I already have a few questions that I will post soon, but wanted to introduce myself first, and I included a pic of my jeep the day it was dropped off. In addition, the previous owner drove this jeep almost daily, so I have a really good foundation to start with. More to come.....
