Hello everyone...
« on: December 10, 2020, 01:05:45 PM »
I'm a long time jeep owner (since Nov. 1977), first time CJ3B co-owner (June 2020).

Figured we would own a 3B someday, but, did not realize it would be this year. Of course, not an ordinary one either. It’s a 1954 CJ3B with an Auburn trencher and hydraulic blade up front. Original owner bought the jeep new and had it equipped with all the goodies. Sold it in 1973 to the family we bought it from after the father passed away. Luckily, it was basically all intact along with receiving a folder of the original Owner’s manual, trencher parts list, etc.

Of course it did not run but we feel it has plenty of potential. Keeping the patina but replacing key items so it runs and digs! Should have started this build thread sooner then later. I’ll catch up eventually on posting pictures and descriptions.

cjbilly,
Welcome!  Your jeep story sounds interesting!  Have you sent anything to Derek yet?
