Will do, Rus, and thanks to all for your suggestions!

Again, my rig is not at home and can’t be visited except maybe every two weeks.

I’ll return to this thread after my next visit.

Well, boys and girls, methinks it’s been fixed!

I drained and replaced the oil, replaced the PCV valve and the line between the crankcase and the intake manifold, and replaced the fuel pump.

I added STP oil additive to oil, and Seafoam to gas.

I ran it hard in first gear for about five miles. At first, it was smoking bad, but at about mile two it started to clear. By mile five, no more smoking. Additionally, there was a distinct vacuum from the oil filler pulling air down into the crankcase. No more vomiting!

I did not autopsy the “old” pump, which only had a few miles on it, as the supplier is taking it back. But my guess is is that that was the culprit.

Many thanks to all of you who gave me great advice!

This is promising!  After you've logged some miles on it, go back and check the compression to see if its the same or a bit different.  Hope this keeps you on the trails!
