introduction
« on: September 25, 2019, 10:50:07 AM »
Hello,

I recently joined after having been on the 3B board for a number of years.  I got my 58 CJ3b 2008.  My father had acquired it in the late 80's from a friend.  After my father died, my sibling drove it for a number of years until it would no longer go - then it sat for a long time outside.  I recovered it and fussed with it a bit but didn't really get anywhere.  Frankly, it was quite a mess.   I finally decided to completely restore it and spent the next 8 years doing that both mechanically and the body work as well.  As I was working the kinks out a few years ago, with only seven miles on it I cracked the block.  It took almost a year to find a good block.  That block has been machined and I'm currently rebuilding the engine.  I have lots of pictures and hope to get them up soon.

John!  Welcome!

Looking forward to seeing more!  Recreating and adding to your build thread here would be good!
