Fold Out Windshield Frame

Hi guys, I need your help!

Somehow over the course of the last 9 years restoring my 54' CJ3B I've lost the inner frame of the fold out windscreen

I jumped around different body workers over the years who said they could do a good job but ultimately let me down so the Jeep unfortunatly has been moved various times to different places

Would anyone have a diagram with measurements of that inner frame?

I believe the M606 and 3b had the same design

While I'm trying to track it down I'm starting to think about getting one fabricated. Any nuance or detail on it is also welcome coz I'm a stickler for it to be as original as possible

It will be hard to find only the inner frame.

I have one at home. I can take some measurements for you and pics.

But I would check to buy a complete one. They pop-up quite frequently.

I agree that finding a seller for just that part is next to impossible, the jeep is abroad which complicates things

Thank god we've found the fold out windscreen

It was in a junk pile at one of the previous body workers yard, thinking that it would of ended up being thrown away makes me sweat

It's a little ugly but it's back!

Once we had it I realised it would have been near impossible to copy it

The machinist (who has fallen in love with the '54) said it was a work of art haha

Anyway this is how it ended up after repairs & paint
