Missing threads
« on: August 26, 2019, 09:14:08 PM »
It may be me or I’m just getting older but a few threads seam to have gone missing in the migration of forums. I can’t find anything from the ‘modified cj3a’ section of the old forum. Looks like basically all my post and build thread are gone?

In order to reorganize the categories and boards for the 3B, i think Tim moved the board here:

https://cj3apage.com/Forum/index.php?board=10.0

Everything should be there, let me know if not.
Willys is better then Ford! Proove? They don't stample their parts for warranty.

The quality of the forum is made by the quality of the forum's people itself.

Hi Mike,
I'm sorry if I hid your thread.  I've been toying around with the new format.  One of the early conversations coming from the 3B DJ Team was that the 3A Page has too many boards.  In comparison to the original 3B, we do have quite a few.  I don't want to loose any of the original content, but I am looking at ways to consolidate the existing information without making it hard to find.  One option the new SMF software has is making an original board into a "child" of another board.  This new Modified board can be found just below the 3A Project Board.  Keeping these boards separated may, or may not make sense in the long run.  The 3A Projects could also just absorb the Modified 3A Projects at some point, but we are still very early in this process.  Bottom line,  I don't want to loose the original feel of our forum, but do want to be as accommodating as possible with the new arrivals who may be overwhelmed with the way we originally split up the content.
