Front bumper
« on: July 15, 2016, 08:09:26 PM »
I don't have an original front bumper.  I would like to buy a repro from Walcks, but I want to be sure my frame will still work with it.  Here are the two sides of the frame at the front.  Do you see any modifications which would make it difficult to mount a new front bumper?

Thanks,

-Paul

Paul, that's the way my frame is. You are good there. Mine was all bent up and I used some 4" rectangular tubing. 4" channel will also work. The channel looks about like the original except a fraction of the cost unless you're putting it back all original. I stayed about as close to original as my budget would allow. Many things I made myself or updated for improvement . I still have some things I want to improve but after driving it a few days it's not really bad for a 52.
