oil dipstick
« on: April 21, 2014, 01:28:54 PM »
hello jeep lovers,  I have a couple questions I need to ask today.  first can someone give me the length measurement of the dip stick for the L134.  mine looks like at one time it had been broke and rewelded. mine measures 25-3/8 from inside the cap to the tip.
my second question is does anyone know where I can pick up a carb float for a carter model W-O. im thinking about rebuilding my original carb and this float has the bottom pushed in. looks like someone squeezed it with their thumb.
the ole jeep runs pretty good on the solex carb gut am hoping to rebuild the carter.  thanks gentalman for all your help.

The dipstick in my L134 is 25 3/8" long, from the inside of the cap, and the "full" mark is at 23 1/8"......

Scoutpilot may be able to help with the float......
