New heater replacements, 6v
« on: November 04, 2013, 02:44:11 PM »
Hi,
I see a few 12v heater options at Walcks and Kaiser, but is there anything in a 6v version?

The original heaters should be 6v and if used on 12v need a resistor equal to the ohms of the motor.

John, this heater came from a friend of mine who sold his Jeep and traded his spare parts collection to me for some boat parts. This came from a CJ2A donor Jeep used on his project. I'm not sure of its age but it is 6 volt and the motor does run. Maybe someone on the site will know what it might have been original to.
I'm looking for $50 + shipping if you or anyone else are interested.
(adding these pics to the "Harrison heater section of FAQs for future reference)
