Transfer case question

I did a parade with the 3A this weekend this may be a stupid question do these transfer case have a low range? I pushed the shifter forward and let out the clutch and nothing just like its in neutral I know the military version has a hi-lo.

Were you in neutral? Push the lever ahead a little further and see what happens.

There is an interlock that prevents you from selecting low range unless you also have it in 4wd...Some people remove it during rebuilds..It prevents the low range lever from moving all the way forward unless the 4wd lever is all the way back....it's just a spring and plunger..

OK I will give the 4WD a try I have lock outs on the front so it wont matter if its in all wheel drive on the hard road anyways thanks for the help.

Yup that's the way you beat the interlock without tearing down your transfer case. Just put lockout hubs on the front and put them in freewheel. Perfect for parades.
